A leading company in warehouse and distribution management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced National General Manager to oversee its nationwide operations. As the National General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, leading a large and diverse team, and ensuring the efficient and effective running of the business. Your role will include developing and implementing growth strategies, managing budgets, improving revenue, and identifying opportunities for expansion. You will have direct involvement in financial analysis, performance evaluations, and strategic planning, working closely with key stakeholders to drive the company’s success across multiple sites.
- Oversee daily business operations across multiple locations, managing a team of 90+ employees in a 24-hour operation.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue.
- Provide leadership and guidance to low-level managers and staff through training and development initiatives.
- Create and manage budgets, with a focus on improving profitability and financial performance.
- Analyze accounting and financial data to ensure effective cost control and financial forecasting.

| Required Skills and Qualifications |
- Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Distribution (preferably with experience in Mega or Large Distribution Centres).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience managing large teams and overseeing nationwide operations.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience analyzing accounting and financial data.
- Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a strong understanding of SAP.
- Ability to develop and implement growth strategies and performance-driven initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP, is essential.
- Knowledge of FMCG industry operations and logistics.
- Strategic thinking and a strong focus on identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a 24-hour operation.
- Must have a valid RSA driver’s license and own transport (beneficial).
