A leading company in warehouse management is looking for a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee and manage its daily business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FMCG sector, managing large teams in a 24-hour operational environment. You will be responsible for driving the company’s operational strategy, managing a team of over 90 employees, and ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, with a focus on growth, efficiency, and profitability.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively within a 24-hour operation. You will be tasked with developing and implementing strategies for growth, improving revenue, and managing team performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, and identifying opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Distribution (experience with Mega/Large Distribution Centres preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate a large team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with a proactive nature and a strong work ethic.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer software, particularly MS Office (SAP and WMS knowledge essential).
