About the Opportunity

Are you a strategic finance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving operational excellence? As a Senior Finance Manager, you will oversee financial operations, ensure robust compliance, and play a pivotal role in driving automation, efficiency, and growth. This role also extends to overseeing sales enablement and fleet management, providing a diverse and impactful leadership experience.


Role Overview

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, from reporting and compliance to cash flow management and budgeting. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, you will ensure financial integrity while identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and revenue generation. In addition, you will oversee the sales enablement function, managing fleet operations, infield marketing assets, and sales incentives. This role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and has the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct variance analysis to provide insights on financial performance.
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including financial models and scenario analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance against the budget and provide monthly forecasts.
  • Deliver strategic input to improve cost efficiencies and revenue growth.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure financial integrity.
  • Oversee compliance with tax, legal, and statutory obligations (e.g., VAT, income tax).
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital.
  • Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and funding strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure alignment with financial goals and provide training and support.
  • Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems.
  • Drive automation and implement upgrades to financial systems and tools.
  • Provide financial insights to business leaders that drive decision-making.
  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategic growth initiatives.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
    • Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, or equivalent certification.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial management roles.
    • Strong understanding of IFRS and regulatory requirements.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Sage preferred).
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

      Preferred Skills

      • Monitor allocation and utilisation of infield marketing assets.
      • Manage stock planning, returns, and departmental procurement.
      • Oversee accommodation planning and spending for sales teams.
      • Manage procurement and communication of sales incentives.
      • Oversee FMR, fuel cards, roadside assistance, and fleet allocation/utilisation.
      • Ensure compliance with internal policies, training, and performance management.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadline
      • Build and manage supplier relationships.
